Mercedes Bunz Website

Mercedes Bunz is a journalist working in the field of computer technology, media art and digital culture. She obtained a PhD from Bauhaus University (Weimar, Germany) with with her 2005 dissertation From Storage to Distribution. On the history of the Internet. Bunz has been editor in chief of the German newspaper Der Tagesspiegel and is one of the founders and editors in chief of the innovative magazine De-Bug. Currently she is affiliated with The Guardian as reporter for technology and media. Bunz lectured on online journalism at the University of Arts in Berlin and the Zurich University of Arts. Her writing revolves around the transformation of politics, markets and social interaction through social shaping of technology.
